Dog & Duck Signature Bourbon Has Arrived

Introducing: Elijah Craig Single Barrel Dog & Duck A125

We believe great bourbon brings people together. That is why we are launching the D&D Signature Bourbon, a thoughtfully curated barrel program that celebrates craftsmanship, character, and community.

This new program is our promise to seek out truly exceptional barrels, each chosen by our team for their unique flavor profiles, rare characteristics, and rich stories. It’s more than bourbon. It’s about creating an experience where every pour is worth savoring.

We’re kicking things off with something special, our Elijah Craig Single Barrel Dog & Duck A125, a bold, smooth bourbon. Unlike the Elijah Craig Small Batch you’ll find on shelves, this single barrel pick is exclusive to Dog & Duck and offers a one-of-a-kind flavor that can’t be replicated.

Whether you’re sipping on a smooth whiskey, bold bourbon, or classic cocktail, we’ve created a spot that feels like home: comfortable, familiar, and ready with a great pour.

Come as you are. You are always welcome at Dog & Duck.
We look forward to sharing a glass with you.

ASK BRANDON

Got bourbon questions? Brandon’s got answers.
Brandon Maddox is our resident bourbon expert (he’s also our beverage director and the GM of our Moncks Corner location). Brandon can answer all of your bourbon questions! Fill out the form with your questions and he’ll get back to you with answers asap.

Here are some of the most common questions he gets asked, but don’t be shy if you’re curious about something else. He’s always happy to talk bourbon.

  • What makes bourbon…bourbon? Bourbon must be made in the United States with at least 51% corn in the mash bill and aged in new charred American oak barrels. It must also be distilled to no more than 160 proof and bottled at 80 proof or higher.

  • What makes this Elijah Craig different from the others on the shelf? We picked this single-barrel private label just for Dog & Duck. It’s not a blend of multiple barrels like Small Batch. You’re tasting the unique characteristics of one single barrel. That means once it’s gone, it’s gone.

  • What does “single barrel” mean? Every bourbon barrel matures a little differently based on factors like where it’s stored, the wood’s grain, and how long it ages. “Single barrel” means that the bourbon in your bottle comes from one individual barrel. It captures the unique flavor of that specific barrel.

  • What if it’s sold out? No worries. Bourbon is like good company; sometimes it’s hard to find. If your first pick isn’t available, our team is always ready to give you great alternative recommendations. Just ask!
